Certificate Examinations, June 14/15 2008Last updated 26 June 2008
Preliminary and Full Certificate Examinations were held at Foxton, Cambridge on 14/15 June 2008, successfully concluding the Teachers Course run over the last few months by Babs Wood of Cambridge and District Branch.
The candidates were put through their paces to demonstrate their expertise in dance steps and formations, knowledge of the Society and their teaching abilities with two sets of volunteer dancers. Our grateful thanks are extended to all those dancers who helped as stooges at the lessons over the previous months and for the exams. A great big vote of thanks goes to Babs Wood for all her hard work in arranging and teaching the classes and managing the exam weekend. Thanks go also to Ken Martlew who played for the dance practices and the exams. Finally, a great big thanks too for the examiners Johan and Ann who travelled to Cambridgeshire specially for this event and to Ron Nedderman for his hospitality.
